Judge is a 6 year old Friesian/Percheron gelding standing 17.1 hands high. Judge is a lovable, gentle giant. He is a true family horse that everyone can enjoy. Judge can be trusted to give pony rides to our youngest nieces and nephews, teach friends and guests how to ride, and never fails to be a safe and sturdy trail mount.

In the ring, Judge is happy taking it slow and steady with the children and learning riders. He is not reactive to swinging legs or wobbly beginners. He has 3 gorgeous gaits that are extremely comfortable and easy to sit. Judge will jump over small fences, logs, and coupes. He is a popular choice for the family to hop on bareback and play around both in the ring and around the farm. Judge is very simple to ride and has great brakes.

Off property, Judge is happy and relaxed. He has been on many trail rides, hunter paces, and paper chases. You can put anyone of any level on Judge to go on a trail or hunter pace and feel secure knowing they are on a reliable and good minded horse. Judge will cross any obstacle, body of water, bridge, or tunnel. He is easy to load and unload, and will stand tied to the trailer without complaining.

In the barn, Judge is quiet and respectful. He stands to be groomed, tacked, and clipped. Judge is happy living inside or out, and does great turned out in groups of both mares and other geldings. He is often handled by lesson students and children and is always sweet and gentle with his people.

Under harness, Judge is well versed and experienced. He has been hitched to a variety of farm equipment, driven on busy roads,  through town, and in the sleigh. Judge will drive over bridges, and through tunnels.

Here is a phenomenal family horse with looks and brains. He will fit into any situation and is ready for the career of your choice. He has no vices and is sound in every way.
