Uno 

 

Uno is a coming 3 year old DHH/Hackney horse cross. This handsome little dude stands right around 14.1hh and is expected to mature around 15.2 We’ve owned Uno since a weanling and have enjoyed watching him grow up. We’ve decided it’s time he’s had his own person and continue his education. We’ve had crosses like this that were super jumpers!

 

Uno has been handled since he was a little guy and loves attention. We’ve done lots of desensitization work, and he’s been as good as a baby can be. He’s used to the tarp, equipment, traffic, tractor, and dogs running around. He also loads right up into the trailer easily. This guy is super fun and always curious. 

 

In the barn, Uno has no bad stall habits and is easy to handle. He can be turned out with mares and geldings, and he always has the same kind personality. He picks up his feet and is learning to stand patiently to be groomed. He’s had a saddle and bridle on many times and is used to being tacked up. He’s good to lunge with or without tack and is fun to work with. 

 

We’ve done lots of groundwork with Uno. He’s super smart and catches on quickly to new things. This guy is one of the fanciest movers we’ve seen. He has all the right movement and potential for an upper level dressage career. We’ve free jumped him as well, and he has tons of scope and the cutest knees. All the right parts are there for him to be started under saddle as he’s already been sat on.  We believe he could excel in any discipline with the right guidance and patience. We want only the best for him and can’t wait to see what his future looks like. 

 

Uno is UTD on farrier, dentist, shots and coggins. He is available now.
