✨Bear✨ is a 5yo, 16.2hh, Spotted Draft gelding. This big boy stands a sturdy 16.2hh. Bear is as pretty as they come, with four white socks and a big blaze, he gets noticed everywhere we take him! This guy is a total ham, and a pleasure to have in the barn.
Bear has had a lot of desensitization work done with him, and he never bats an eye. He will walk through fire for his rider, and he doesn’t ask twice. He’s good with dogs, bikes, loud equipment, traffic, tarps, smoke, and will lead a group into the water. He loads right on and off the trailer, and acts the same on and off property. This gelding is very special and deserves a home that will appreciate him to the fullest!
In the ring, Bear has a balanced walk, trot, and canter both directions. He knows how to go in a headset, and he carries himself extremely well. For his large size, he’s very light on his feet. He can pick up the canter from a walk- and it’s the most comfortable canter in the barn! He always picks up the correct lead, and he strives to please. He takes up leg well, and is learning to move off leg pressure quickly. This guy is super fun to school some first level dressage, and he is loaded with potential. Whether you want to plod around on a loose rein, or pick up and work, this guy is ready to please.
This boy is like sitting on a big couch. He’s sure footed out on the trail and never takes a wrong step. He’ll even pop over logs and look cute doing it! If you want a tank of a horse, Bear is your guy. He could be a suitable husband horse out on the trail, or he can turn on his athletic mode and go on a hunter pace. He’s versatile, fun to ride, and all around a great time. He will happily go in English or Western tack, and he’s always sure to look stunning.
In the barn, Bear is easy to handle and get along with. He has no bad stall habits, goes out in a mixed herd, and he is easy to bring in and turn out. He’s behaved for the vet and farrier, and easy to tack up and groom. He’s a big lovable guy and someone’s going to be very lucky to get him. He’s a one of a kind type of horse.
Bear is UTD on shots, coggins, farrier, deworming, and dentist. He is available to purchase for $20,000.
