Brett is a 6 year old Percheron/Thoroughbred gelding standing 15.3 hands high. Everyone who’s around this guy falls in love instantly. There isn’t enough nice things to say about him. From his sweet and gentle personality to his smooth gaits and perfect knees over fences, this guy can be successful in any discipline with almost any level rider. Brett is willing, honest, and has the best brain. Whether you’re doing ring work, jumping, driving, or just relaxing out on the trails, Brett is safe and gives his all to his person. He is perfectly sized, short enough for petite or timid riders, yet sturdy enough for husbands and guests. 

 

In the ring, Brett is simple and smooth. He has 3 easy gaits and great brakes. Brett is often used in our lesson program and does great with everyone from walk trotters to kids who are doing 2’ courses. He has schooled up to 3’ with room to go higher. He has great form over fences and is extremely willing with new obstacles. Brett easily goes in a frame or will ride on the buckle. 

 

Off property, Brett is happy and enjoys seeing new things. He will hack out alone or in a group, and will lead or follow. Brett will cross water, go through tunnels, over bridges, and is safe around traffic, dogs, and bicyclists. Brett is a breeze to load and unload, and stands tied to the trailer without any issues. 

 

In the barn, Brett is a love. He is one of the sweetest, kindest, gentleman around. He loves to be groomed and messed with, and stands like a statue to be tacked and clipped. Brett is the same horse whether he is turned out or kept inside. When turned out, he goes in a herd of mares and other geldings. He never causes a fuss and is very easy to catch.  

 

It will be hard to find another horse like this guy! He is safe, talented, and easy to get along with. He is receptive to everything you teach him, and always has a good attitude.
