Lola is a 13 year old Welsh/Thoroughbred cross mare standing 14.2 hands high. She is truly a spectacular little mare and everyone’s favorite ride. We cannot say enough good things about this girl.
On the trail, Lola is a total babysitter. Anyone can take her out! She’s been a reliable guest horse and never takes a wrong step. She enjoys being out. Lola will go in the front or back of the group without a problem. You can take her swimming in the lake or splashing around in the creek. This princess will pop over a fallen log without hesitation while looking super cute doing it. She could make a fantastic hunt horse by being quiet, uninterested in other horses’ activities, and having patience.
In the ring, Lola is very educated and easy to ride. She has given beginner lessons without getting upset. Lola is very trustworthy. She is very soft in the mouth and will gladly go into a frame at the walk, trot, and canter. Her transitions are flawless. Her gaits are adjustable and comfortable as can. Lola can lengthen or shorten her stride based on your needs. She picks up both leads easily and moves off the leg. This sweetie pie could excel in dressage, but her heart is in jumping. She’s every trainers’ dream to ride.
Lola has jumped up to 2’6" with us without batting an eye. She will jump a course keeping the same rhythm, and takes every jump the same. She always tucks her knees and looks like a million bucks. Scary or new jumps are nothing to her. She will literally jump fire for her rider. Lola always safely gets her person to the other side. All it takes is a little bend to get her to land on the proper lead. She trailers well and loves going new places. This mare is truly a superstar and would be perfect for someone wanting to show.
In the barn, Lola is well behaved and has no stall issues. She can be in for days and is still the same ride every time. On the crossties, she enjoys being groomed and will stand all day to be brushed and tacked up. She easily picks up all four feet, and our farrier loves her. Lola is good with getting clipped. She will get anxious and dance if she thinks she’s being left on the ties.
Lola’s a barn favorite, and is going to make someone very happy. We can’t wait to see where her future takes her. She is a joy to be around and is sure to put a smile on your face. Her price reflects her education, as well as her outstanding work ethic, and drive to please. Her type of brain and attitude is hard find in a pony. She’s worth her weight in gold. We’re definitely all going to miss this special one when she goes.
She is UTD on farrier, dentist, shots, coggins, and deworming.
