"Nemo" - For Sale

Meet ✨Nemo✨ (better known as “old faithful” despite his age in our barn). This young gentleman is a 4 year old, 15.2hh, perch/QHx, gelding. Nemo is like the nice guy at school you ignored but he turned out to be the most successful. Nemo has flourished into a handsome young man, with skill and brain to match. He’s not the jock of the barn, but if you want sweet and honest- it’s him. Not only does he drive, but he rides Western, English, Bareback, and he even knows tricks! He will lay down on command with a simple gesture, and while it might not bring you a ribbon in the show ring- it’s definitely a fun party trick to have on hand. The best part about Nemo is that he is SAFE, quite literally for anyone.
In the ring, Nemo is quiet, sensible, and has a nice handle to him. It’s hard to find a 4 year old that has the brains and skill he possesses. He spins, sidepasses, leg yields, and is truly so reliable we would trust putting anyone on him. He’s toted around beginners, he is stocky enough for bigger riders, and he’s a saint for leadline with the kids. He has made more people smile than we can count. Whether you’re on his back, or just hanging out with him in the barn-he is guaranteed to make your day better. He is a fun ride, with walk to canter transitions both ways and a sliding stop just off of a simple “whoa” or shift in your seat. He can canter circles, pop over little jumps, or do really anything you ask without hesitation. He’s simple, safe, and rideable in every way. He trailers off property and acts the same as he does at home, and he’ll be the same genuine horse every time you pull him out. He’s sweet as pie, cute as a button, and one of the most honest horses we’ve come across. Always willing to please- and ALWAYS takes care of his rider.
On the trail, Nemo will happily mosey behind the group, he’s never in a hurry, and is the type of horse that will remind you to slow down, and enjoy the simplicity’s of life. He’s not lazy, however he won’t go faster than you ask, and he is the type that’s happy to go anywhere you put him in the group. He will respond to cues out anywhere, and has even layed down on a beach and the open fields with multiple different riders! He’s so fun, one you can trust to put that first time rider or a guest on for a hack, and never have to worry. He’s the go-to in our barn for the less confident or beginner riders, and a saint to teach lessons on. Nemo is truly worth his weight in gold, and while he may be a plain bay on the outside, his brain and personality are so unique he is priceless.
In the barn, Nemo will stand all day for affection and attention. He will let the kids brush and braid his mane and tail, and won’t move an inch. You can literally crawl underneath him and around his legs and he won’t budge. He’s safe in every aspect, and always behaved. He’s good to tack up, groom, bathe, and for the farrier and vet. He loads into the trailer without hesitation, and is never one to throw a fit or cause drama. He is so special in every way, and we’ve been blessed with our time with him. That being said we know his forever family is out there waiting for him, and we can’t wait to see all the great things he does in the future! Whether that be shows, being a husband/guest horse, or just someone’s best friend we know he will excel in every way. We love this little bay horse and want the best home for our Nemo.
