"Ozzy's Successor" - SOLD

Ozzy or better known in the barn as “Mosquito” is a 2019 papered DHH. This boy is quite the eye catcher with his flashy markings and one blue eye. We’ve had this special boy in our barn since he was a weanling and have enjoyed watching him grow up. 

 

In the barn, Ozzy still has some baby tendencies, however he is easy to be around and handle. He is good for the farrier and will pick up all 4 feet. He’s had work being saddled and will stand to be groomed and tacked up. He is good to bridle and takes the bit easily. He has no bad stall habits although he prefers to be out playing in the pasture rather than locked in. 

 

Mosquito will lunge both ways easily and he has done some work in side reins getting his head lower and going on the bit. We’ve also done some free lunging over jumps and he is a fantastic jumper. He has great timing and rhythm, and he has proved to be very athletic. 

 

Mosquito has done a ton of desensitization work with us, and takes everything like a champ. He’s used to the tarp, flags, loading and unloading, as well as smoke, equipment, traffic and dogs. He turns out with both mares and geldings and tries to play with everyone. This sweet boy is something special and one of our favorites. The only reason for sale is due to a full barn and we want him to have his own person to excel with. 

 

Under saddle, Ozzy has been started with some basic rides mostly at the walk-trot gaits. He’s extremely intelligent and a fast learner. We believe he’s now ready to find his person and continue his education in any direction. This handsome horse has so much potential, and with the right guidance he will make a fantastic horse for someone looking for a young prospect to bring along. 

 

Ozzy is UTD on coggins, shots, deworming, farrier and dentist.
