Estrella Bebe is a 4 year old unraced Thoroughbred mare standing 15.3 hands high. We don’t often list full Thoroughbreds, but this pretty lady is just special in every way. She is polite and friendly on the ground and quiet as a mouse under saddle. There isn’t much that phases her, and she most certainly can take a joke. Estrella is happy and steady in the ring and out. The sky is the limit for this talented and easygoing young mare. With her looks, brains, and style, there is nothing she cannot accomplish.
In the ring, Estrellas motto is “Slow and steady wins the race”, which is also why she never made it to the race track. She happily goes around like a hunter and will never go a step faster than is asked. She is perfect for packing around a kid (or adult) that likes to daydream their way around the ring while riding on the buckle. She is learning how to go in a frame as well as some basic lateral movements. She will be extremely simple to put on the buttons and move up the levels. Estrella is quiet enough for us to teach lessons to timid and nervous riders, but is also talented enough for the more bold riders who want to jump and be more technical. Estrella is brave and straightforward over fences. She is honest and will take a fence from any spot, and she has the cutest knees while doing it.
Off property, Estrella is happy to go out on a hunter pace or trail ride. She has attended several schooling shows with the kids and we have nothing but good things to say about her behavior. We cannot wait to follow this mares show career as she gets older! On the trails, Estrella will lead or follow and crosses all obstacles. Over the summer, Estrella has been swimming in the lake and loved it! Practically anyone can take this mare on the trails. She is simple and care free while hacking out.
In the barn, Estrella has a puppy dog personality and loves being spoiled by the kids. She stands very well on the cross ties, and enjoys being groomed and loved on. She has no bad habits in the barn and is happy living inside or out. Estrella is not mare-ish and is turned out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings.
Estrella is certainly a special horse that we cannot wait to see succeed in her career—whatever that may be. She is so versatile and user friendly that she can be finished off in absolutely any direction, in the show ring or out cross country. Her talent, good mind, and a quiet attitude make for a true dream horse.
