Knight is a 5 year old, 3/4 Friesian 1/4 Morgan gelding standing 16 hands high. This show-stopping horse is meant to be on the big screen! With his looks, personality, brain, and quiet disposition, Knight is the definition of the complete package. He is simple to ride in the ring, will pop over jumps, and has had all of the prep work done for both film production and police work! He is also a trustworthy trail horse, and loves hunter paces and paper chases.
In the ring, Knight is a steady eddy type. He has not been started on too much dressage work yet, but will continue to learn leg yields, and basic dressage until he sells. He knows how to go into a frame, but is just as happy riding around on a loose rein. He has 3 great gaits with an extremely smooth and balanced canter. He has shown us his lead changes, and has all the makings to be quite the looker in the dressage ring in the future. Knight will easily pop over fences in the ring. He has been schooled up to 2”6. This pretty guy is great with kids and will tolerate bouncy, wobbly, and unbalanced kids with ease.
Outside of the ring, Knight was extremely willing and simple to get accustomed to smoke bombs, flares, tarps, fireworks, and fire. He will literally walk through fire for you! He has an unbeatable brain when it comes to new and “spooky” things. There is no training in the world that can compare to how this guy’s brain works. He is naturally quiet and willing for anything that is thrown his way.
Off property, Knight is always a pleasure. He greatly enjoys hitting the trails or heading off on a hunter pace. Nothing seems to bother him, and he absolutely loves to play in the water. Knight will bravely cross bridges, streams, roads, and more. He is happy leading, following, or going in the middle of the pack. There is nothing but good things to say about Knight as a trail horse!
In the barn, Knight is a true gentleman. He stands like a statue to be groomed, tacked, bathed, and clipped. He enjoys attention and is used to small children, dogs, and all sorts of commotion in the barn. Knight is one of the rare few that is the same horse whether he’s inside for a week or living out 24/7. He is happy in any living situation and gets along with every horse in his herd of mares and geldings.
Under harness, Knight is simple and straightforward. He is safe in heavy traffic and around the farm. He will cross bridges, tunnels, and even go to the drive thru! He stands to hitch and unhitch and is respectable in every way. He’s an easy going type who is not in a hurry to go anywhere fast.
Knight is nothing short of a superstar. This gentleman of a horse could not have a better brain and personality. He is ready to head off and be successful on screen, on the trails, or in the ring.
