"Stanley” - SOLD

16.2 hands :  4 year old : Warmblood : Gelding

Stanley is a 4 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding standing 16.2 hands high. This guy is truly one of a kind! If you’ve seen his video, you’ll know why. Most of you looking for another horse will not be able to TRULY understand this next sentence; you have to ride or train 1,000 horses before you come across one with the attitude, personality, and intelligence (that all goes hand in hand) before you find another like Stanley. He has one of the best brains in a young horse that we have ever seen — not to mention, he rides like a dream with a hack winning canter and honest and easy jump. There isn’t much that bothers this guy. From fireworks, tarps, traffic, kids, dogs, you name it. He is truly a once in a lifetime horse with nothing but a bright future ahead.

In the ring, Stanley naturally goes around like a hunter with extremely comfortable gaits and a canter to die for. He walk, trot, and canters all on the buckle with his head low at a rhythmic pace. He is learning connection and softness, and quite honestly, he naturally has a very correct way of going that won’t require much tweaking to hit the show ring. Stanley is content being ridden by kids, beginners, or professionals. He can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. He has been started over small fences and is taking to it beautifully. He is steady, honest, and has no fear of any “spooky” fill or strange new jumps.

Off property, Stanley is just as safe, quiet, and simple as he is in the arena. Anyone can ride him on the trails. Even your speed racer husband or timid first time riding guest can safely take him for a walk in the park. Stanley is happy leading, following, or riding in the middle of the pack. He will cross water, logs, bridges, roads, and everything in between.

In the barn, Stanley is a love bug. He is the first one to the gate and absolutely adores any and all human contact. Although he is a cuddle bug that loves being loved, he is still very respectful of personal space and is never rude or pushy. Stanley is great to groom, tack, and bathe. He is handled by children and beginners with ease and is always on his best behavior. Stanley enjoys living outside, but he is also mannerly with no bad habits when he is stalled. He currently lives out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings.

Don’t wait on this special guy. Horses like him are few and far between and do not last long. Stanley will without a doubt be someone’s one in a lifetime horse. We know that whatever he does, he will be great!
