"Cabbage Patch" - SOLD

17.3 hands : 7 year old : Percheron/Irish Draught : Gelding

Cabbage Patch is a 7 year old Percheron/Irish Draught gelding standing 17.3 hands high. He is kind, patient, and easy to be around. Cabbage may not be the next olympic hopeful, but he can always be trusted to safely take care of his rider. Whether you are looking to hit the trails, or for a partner to slowly and steadily bop around the arena with, Cabbage will happily and quietly get the job done!

In the ring, Cabbage will go at the pace you set. For a big guy, he carries himself well and will walk, trot, and canter smoothly around the arena. Cabbage’s experience in the ring has mainly been to be a babysitter for the children and guests, however he does have the ability to get up and go for a rider that desires to do so! Cabbage will trot over small fences in the ring, but most of his jumping experience is outside of the arena on hunter paces and on the cross country field.  He is a great sturdy size for husbands or guests who want to try out riding for the first time.

Off property, Cabbage has most of his miles. He is a trail master that absolutely anyone can ride and enjoy. He is safe and simple as can be, and will cross any obstacle you put in front of him. Cabbage loves to swim and hang out in the water. He will ride alone or in a group, and loves to be out and about.

In the barn, Cabbage is as easy a keeper as they come. He lives outside in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and gets along well with everyone. He is well behaved when he is in a stall, and has no bad habits or vices. He has great ground manners and stands to be groomed, tacked, clipped, and bathed.

Located in Gap, Pennsylvania. Priced at $20,000. Inquires may phone 717-917-7213
