"Sharn Rose” - For Sale

14.3 -15 hands : 4  year old : Halflinger/Friesian X : Mare

Sharn Rose (aka Rosie) is a 4 year old, 14.3-15hh, papered Friesian/Halflinger X mare. She has the best qualities from both breeds. This girl is intelligent, a pretty mover, and has a sweet personality to match. She’s loaded with potential and ready for her own person. We want the best home for this pretty girl.

Rosie was started correctly as a 3 year old doing mainly trail rides. This has put an amazing foundation on her and she is a super fun ride to hack out. She is used to going out in both Western and English tack. She’s seen a lot of different things including dogs, bikes, 4 wheelers, tarps, and different equipment. She will bravely go through bridges, over logs, and into water. She’s a confident ride out and very well behaved in a group setting. This girl would make a great fox hunter prospect or be a good one to take out on a hunter pace or paper chase and just have fun.

In the ring, we’ve been working on the basics the past couple months. Rosie has a nice wtc both directions. She will pick up the correct lead almost every time, and she has a lovely comfortable canter. She is young, so we haven’t pushed her hard; however she picks up on things very quickly and is super willing to learn. She is learning to move off leg and do some collection work. Rosie is very well balanced naturally, and she could definitely have a future in the dressage ring. She will stop off your seat, and is a nice in between of go and whoa. She is doing incredible for what we’ve done with her so far, and we couldn’t ask for a smarter little mare. Rosie will be the type of horse who will suit anyone. She is easy and level headed enough for a JR or AA to continue bringing along with a trainer. She would also make a super fun project for a professional.

Rosie has been introduced to doing some ground pole work and small crossrails. She is always honest, brave and has scope over jumps. She has been cross country schooling as well, doing mainly the little logs and introduction to some of the scarier looking jumps. She has been amazing with everything we throw at her. This mare could go any direction and is ready to make into whatever you want.

In the barn, Rosie has no bad stall habits and she is easy to get along with. She has a funny goofy personality that’s super love able and she is a barn favorite around here. She is turned out with both mares and geldings and she is never one to start drama. She is easy to handle, good for the farrier, and loads into the trailer easily. We want the best home for this special horse.

Rosie is UTD on shots, deworming, coggins, farrier and dentist.

She is available to purchase for $15k.
