Fantasy (aka Fanta) is a 5 year old, Andalusian/Percheron mare standing right around 15.3 hands high. This pretty girl is well put together, intelligent, and has tons of potential with the right person. We’ve never had a horse love water as much as her. She’s a mermaid!
In the ring, Fantasy has a solid wtc both directions and is a comfortable ride. She is learning to go on the bit and move off of leg. She is a pretty mover and carries herself nicely. She is more on the lazy side, so she requires a confident rider to teach her a work ethic and be the boss. She can be tricky and test her rider. We would like her to go to someone with experience, so she can reach her full potential.
Over jumps, Fantasy has amazing form and she enjoys doing her job. She has a nice rhythm and naturally paces herself well. We have schooled her up to 3ft in the ring, and she has plenty of room to go higher. We think she could excel in the hunter or jumper ring with her natural talent and the right person to bring her there.
On the trail, Fantasy is easygoing and never in a hurry. She’s always happy to go out to see the sights with her person. She is not overly mare-ish and doesn’t get upset if another horse gets too close behind her. She’ll go in the front or the back of the group with no issues. This mare LOVES water more than any horse we’ve seen. She’s always the first one in the lake, and she will splash and roll in it all day if you let her. She crosses creeks and will pop over logs and small fences. She’s a fun ride and always puts a smile on the face.
In the barn, Fantasy has a sweet personality and is an ‘in your pocket’ type of horse. She has no bad stall habits and is easy to tack up. She thrives off of attention and will stand all day to be groomed and loved on. In the field, Fantasy can go out with other mares and geldings. She’s easy to work around, good for the farrier, and loads into the trailer easy.
We are selling Fantasy as a project for an experienced rider which reflects in her price. With more time and training, we have no doubt she’ll become a 5 figure horse and do great things. If you’re up for a horse that has a personality of her own and a little bit of spice, she’s your girl!
Fanta is UTD on shots, deworming, farrier, dentist and coggins..
